This is the oldest house i nHemlingby adn was built between 1669 and 1671 as a school in the centre of Gävle (close to Holy Trinity Church). It was moved to Hemlingby in 1838 and still looks pretty much the same today as it did then.

The door of the house is of course from the same age that the house was built. Again it hasn’t changed a lot since this photo was taken at the beginning of the 1970 -ies.
